I first sketched out The Truth in Truth and Reconciliation Board Game in 2017 with markers and cue cards for my high school students. What started as a simple study tool soon grew into a way to teach about colonization, and I’ve stayed true to that vision ever since, even when it meant turning down changes from a publisher.
